Through a partnership with LA Sanitation and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, BCCS students were able to visit Discovery Cube Los Angeles. At DCLA students learned practical ways to save water and energy in their daily lives, emphasizing how these efforts support a sustainable future. The program delivered grade-specific lessons aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), ensuring students grasp the importance of conserving resources. Students were able to explore science, technology, engineering, art, math (STEAM) through workshops, exhibits and other hands on activities.
